6.2¶
Staff abuse is misuse of staff rank, commands, information, or access for personal benefit, revenge, entertainment, intimidation, or favoritism. It is a serious breach of trust.
Examples of prohibited behavior include:
- Command abuse: using
/tp,/vanish,/gamemode,/fly,/god, or similar tools to gain an unfair gameplay advantage. - Item or economy abuse: creating, duplicating, transferring, or granting items, money, ranks, or benefits without explicit authorization.
- Information abuse: using staff logs, private reports, player inventories, or investigation details to benefit yourself or a friend.
- Targeting: repeatedly monitoring, provoking, threatening, or punishing a particular player because of a personal conflict.
- Favoritism: ignoring clear violations by friends or punishing others more harshly for the same behavior.
- Retaliation: punishing someone for reporting you, appealing a decision, criticizing staff respectfully, or refusing a request.
- Evidence manipulation: fabricating, altering, selectively presenting, hiding, or destroying evidence to influence a case.
- Confidentiality breaches: leaking private staff discussions, reports, player data, or investigation plans.
- Unauthorized access: using staff tools or another staff member's account without permission.
- Concealment: lying about misuse, pressuring witnesses, or asking others to delete evidence.
No exceptions for rank or friendships. “It was a joke,” “they are my friend,” “I was bored,” “everyone does it,” or “I have a high rank” are not valid justifications.
Required response when abuse is suspected¶
- Stop the questionable action immediately.
- Do not confront, threaten, or pressure witnesses.
- Preserve relevant logs, screenshots, clips, and timestamps.
- Report the concern privately to a Manager/Owner or an independent senior leader.
- Cooperate with a fair review and do not interfere with the investigation.
- Do not delete messages or evidence, coordinate stories, or use staff access to investigate yourself.
Leadership should document the allegation, preserve available evidence, allow the accused staff member an appropriate chance to respond, and make a decision based on evidence. Where possible, someone independent of the allegation should review it. Immediate protective restrictions may be used while a serious allegation is reviewed. Confirmed abuse may result in removal of permissions, demotion, removal from the team, a server ban, and loss of eligibility for future staff roles, according to leadership's decision and current rules.
