Before independently handling moderation cases, a new staff member should:

  • [ ] Read the entire Staff Handbook.
  • [ ] Read the Punishment Matrix.
  • [ ] Read the Investigations guide.
  • [ ] Read the Ticket Workflow.
  • [ ] Review the Command Reference and understand which commands their rank may use.
  • [ ] Learn where evidence and action logs belong.
  • [ ] Understand the zero-tolerance policy for staff abuse and how to report suspected misconduct.
  • [ ] Observe an experienced staff member handling routine cases.
  • [ ] Ask a Manager about any unclear process or permission.
  • [ ] Complete the quiz below and submit it using the method specified by leadership.

A trainee should ask for supervision when unsure. Guessing with staff permissions is not acceptable.
